RIT GALLERY PASSPORT
INFORMATION DESIGN | WAYFINDING | PRINT
For a primarily tech school, RIT has a thriving community of creatives. A fact many find shocking is RIT is home to 11 unique gallery spaces.
Over the course of summer 2015, I worked with RIT's Student Auxillary Services to create an in-depth gallery 'tour'. The goal was to make the tour fun and creative so the idea to create a passport style booklet was pitched.
When designing the Passport, I always kept in mind ways I could make it as simple and cohesive as possible. I drew inspiration for Lella and Massimo Vignelli who are very highly regarded at RIT, due to the fact that the campus is home to their archives. We tried to pack the booklet with information while still keeping it functional and user friendly.

The Passport provides all of the necessary information needed to have a successful tour. The information pages for each of the galleries provide an image, a brief bio of the space, and contact information. The tour is ordered in a way that is efficient and consistent.
The Passport also features a map of RIT and a small portion of Downtown Rochester. There is an easy-to-follow navigation system and information needed to easily navigate the RIT campus.

The project took about two months to complete and has received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback. The Passport can be found at each of the gallery locations.
